Chess games databases

Hello everybody!

 

I want to open a topic about the resources of chess databases available online. Where do you collect fresh games.

 

I personally prefer the 10 Days database of chessmix.com because my observations are to have the most games, also the tidiest and most organized.

 

Before I used twic but i had many work after that to orginize better the content.

 

If you have any favorites, please share with us.

I use twic myself: http://www.chesscenter.com/twic/twic.html but it is true that it gets a little tiring. Chessbase does it automatically: it collects the database from twic and updates your own database.

Never heard about chessmix. I'll give it a go!

Thank you for your opinion. I didn't know actually that CB uses the twic. I've been building my own database since long ago already I have games 2-3 years old (approx 200 thousand only from CMix. I think that twic needs more competition in order to improve

 

I am trying to think of other resources of games, but I just can't find any You know, I want a very big database

Thank you Javi, I haven't heard of that resource. I'll see if it can be useful.
