Can we really appreciate something if we know very little about it? Probably not.

Maybe that's why younger players are not particularly fond of endgames! ;)

Although I know the solution to this great endgame composition, it still makes me smile every time I see it. It could happen so easily in a game of ours!

Actually, that's what I would have said if this had been a real game! :)

To his credit, Lolli composed this back in 1763, nearly 250 years ago, in a very different planet... ;)
