Karpov was not allowed to visit Kasparov

Karpov was simply trying to pay a visit to Kasparov (as you know, he's in jail) and offer some moral support but he simply was not allowed to visit him.

It really is shocking that things like this should happen in Russia in 2007. There's no democracy and citizens don't have even the most elementary rights.

Very sad...
