A lot of the material found in this book is rather old. Nothing wrong with that, but it would have been nice to see more modern examples as well. My general impression of this book is that it really isn't saying anything new. For example, I found the chapter on the isolated pawn rather poor. Most of the topics have been dealt with in other books and I don't get the feeling that Marovic spent much time explaining ideas to his readers.

5 points for this one.
